DFPC follows the CORA/CCJRA policy adopted by the Colorado Department of Public Safety. The policy allows the first hour of staff time to respond to a request be free to the requester and that each subsequent hour will be assessed a $41.37 per hour fee for staff time spent collecting, reviewing, and redacting reports, as applicable.

There is an additional cost of $0.25 per printed page for regular paper copies of information (an additional cost may apply for larger non standard paper sizes).

We will contact you with a time estimate to complete a request prior to starting work. If you agree to the cost (if one is incurred) we will complete the work upon your agreement to the costs associated with the request.
