TRAINING PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The goal of the DFPC Professional Qualifications Training Section is to provide safe and effective fire and/or driver operator training to departments throughout the State of Colorado. We provide this “no-fee” training through the use of our Live Fire, Driving, Pump Operations, and current issues style trainings. Each training can utilize some or all of our props to support the growth and development of the Colorado fire service. Class descriptions are listed below.

You can better secure your preferred training date by submitting a request form during the Prop Request Process window from November 1st, 2023 thru December 1st, 2023, or you can opt to request a prop or classroom/prop class at any time throughout the year. Please keep in mind that all requests submitted outside of the request process window will be subject to availability of the prop requested, the location of the prop requested and the availability of our DFPC Training Officers.

In order to maximize the effectiveness for your fire department, its personnel and your community we at the DFPC encourage host departments to invite your neighboring fire departments to attend your scheduled training sessions.
